Who We Are
Octopus Security and Allied Services (OSAS) was incorporated in 2011 into the Nigeria private security industry and backed by a board and management that share amongst them considerable experience spanning many years in the security profession. The company provides services in industrial and commercial security to clients with a view to carving a niche for itself.
We provide integrated security solutions to our clients. Our service delivery is excellent and we provide the best security solutions through innovation, strict adherence to quality, training and compliance with international standards. It is our hope that as we ensure international best practices, we will remain dynamic and incorporate further development in the are of security into our business.
Management
The management consists of security professionals with varied experience in all aspects of security. They have among them the expertise and skill gained over several decades of performance in the security profession.
Structure & Ownership
Octopus Security and Allied Services Ltd (OSAS) is a wholly-owned indigenous private security outfit registered in Nigeria in 2011. The ownership is diversified with som Nigerians as shareholders. It is projected that in the near future, OSAS will go into partnership with reputable international security companies to improve service delivery, further enhance international best practices and widen its reach in Nigeria and the West Africa sub-region. At present, the Chairman of the company is Lt col L. A Balogun (rtd) while the Chief Executive Officer is Olubunmi Bamidele Akintola, also a retired military intelligence General.
Lieutenant Colonel (Chief) L. Akin BALOGUN (retired) is the Chairman of the company. He was commissioned as an officer in the Nigerian Army in 1970. He held staff and command appointments during his career in the Army that spanned 19 years of unblemished record.
He obtained a B Sc in Political Science from Troy State University, USA in 1979. He also took a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from the Administrative College of Nigeria. He is an expert in Jungle warfare and has attended several courses on Security Management..
